I, EDWARD HOWARD residing at No.20 The Peak, Victoria

in the Colony of Hongkong and carrying on business at No.10

Ice House Street, Victoria aforesaid, as a Bill and Bullion

Broker do solemnly sincerely and truly declare and say as

follows:

I have been a Householder in the Colony of Hongkong

since the year 1916.

2. I am a Bill and Bullion Broker.

3. I am a natural born British Subject having been born

at Calcutta on the 13th day of March 1881.

I am not the agent or solicitor of the applicant

5. I have known and been well acquainted with the applicant

the said Raymond Menashih Joseph since the month of May 1901.

I have read the Memorial of the said Raymond Menashin

Joseph which is now produced and shewn to me and is marked

"E.H" and can state from my personal knowledge of the said

Raymond Menashih Joseph that the statements contained in the

said Memorial are to the best of my knowledge information

and belief strictly true and correct and I can further say
